Origine: A naturally occurring monoterpenoid found in essential oils of rose, geranium, citronella, lemongrass, and palmarosa. Can also be synthesized. Our trace presence comes from natural essential oil components in our fragrance blend.

Geraniol is a primary fragrant compound responsible for characteristic sweet, rosy floral notes with a hint of citrus. It is one of the main components of rose and geranium oils. Its primary functions are: Perfuming: Contributes sweet, rose-like, slightly citrusy scent notes. Adds warmth and floral character to fragrance compositions. Masking: Helps blend and round out the overall fragrance profile. Softens sharper notes naturally.

This ingredient is not added separately to our formulations. It arrives naturally as a constituent of essential oils within our pre-blended fragrance substance. EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 requires individual disclosure of certain fragrance allergens when present above specific thresholds: 0.001% in leave-on products 0.01% in rinse-off products Geraniol is one of the 26 established fragrance allergens regulated under Annex III of the EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009.
